I hope that too. I should have looked the term I was refering to up as 
'to record changes' (I hope I am right here). Nevertheless you will have 
problems if you have local changes and do not do the workaround of 
record/pull/unrecord (please correct me, if I am wrong here). That is 
what Tom was asking for: problems with darcs.

There is no such thing as the best version control system. It depends 
strongly on the project and the people involved.
