[Developers] problem compiling with pgi 5.1

I am using linux suse 9.2. I don't know how to figure libc, except for
peniel 51% rpm -qa | grep libc
glibc-devel-2.3.3-118
glibc-2.3.3-118
libcroco-0.5.1-3
libcap-1.92-481
glibc-info-2.3.3-118
glibc-locale-2.3.3-118
